Protecting our hearing is very important because we are often exposed to noise in our everyday life. Whether on the street, at work (at home or at work) or other events. Noise significantly affects our body, but also the psyche.
Anyone who is permanently exposed to noise should think about suitable hearing protection.
There is a suitable custom-made hearing protection for every occasion, here are a few examples:
- For listening to music, at concerts or on stage
- At work (e.g. construction site or kindergarten)
- When shooting and hunting
- When traveling (on the plane for pressure equalization)
- When bathing and swimming
- For restful sleep
- For police and security
Exposure to over 85 dB over a longer period of time (40 hours per week) can have drastic consequences for people. But quiet or more distant sources of sound, such as train or street noise, can also affect the quality of our sleep.
85dB is roughly equivalent to loud speech (an argument), a saxophone, or a main road.
In addition to a pathological (disease-related) change in hearing and ear, stress hormones are released by the body when exposed to noise.
These can have other health consequences. They can severely affect the cardiovascular system, digestion and many other areas.
From a temporary (TTS – Temporary Threshold S.hift), up to a permanent hearing threshold shift (PTS – P.permanent Threshold S.hift) or tinnitus (a ringing or ringing in the ear), noise has many negative effects on our organism.
Some of these effects can be brought under control again (with treatment with medication), but you can do a lot to protect your own hearing in advance:
- The primary aim is to avoid noise or to increase the distance to noise
- If this is not possible, attenuation should take place (ear plugs, hearing protection headphones or, in an emergency, a bit of speed)
- Ideally, if you are exposed to noise frequently, you will have appropriate hearing protection
Musicians should also (especially when playing live on stage) think about hearing protection. Many live musicians experience hearing loss or tinnitus over time.
However, this ringing in the ears or a temporary shift in hearing thresholds can also remain permanent. With in-ear monitoring (as shown here) you can protect your hearing and at the same time have full music enjoyment without compromising the sound!
The built in 
Loudspeakers can be built into the outer shell in different versions, from basic loudspeakers with a 1-way system to a 4-way system in hi-fi quality. The way system basically only describes how exactly the loudspeaker is set when playing music. In general, the more paths, the more enjoyment of the sound.
Here is an example of a sleep protection made from soft silicone (even slightly glowing in the dark!). The customer can forget the train noise at night and sleep restfully. Due to the small plug in the ear canal, you hardly notice that you are wearing hearing protection.
With the small tongue on the earpiece, you can easily pull the plug out of your ear (also suitable for side sleepers). Below we have illustrated hearing protection against noise. A small acoustically effective filter is built in here, which reduces noise over a wide range (over all pitches) as possible.
So you can enjoy the music at the concert or at the wine festival with a clear conscience while your hearing is protected. Conversations are also possible without any problems, so you can have conversations unaffected by music in the disco, at a concert or in noisy surroundings.

The manufacturer then produces the desired ear piece in the color you have selected, to the nearest 100th of a millimeter! Each hearing protection can be made in different colors and customized. From fuchsia to grass green to bright yellow, anything is possible! You can even have your nickname printed on the ear piece! For children there are great variants in bright colors and, if desired, with glitter.
